CARROLL TOWNSHIP POLICE
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
On behalf of the Carroll Township Police Department, we wish to invite the
residents of Carroll Township, Monaghan Township, Franklintown Borough and
Dillsburg Borough to attend our annual NATIONAL NIGHT OUT celebration, which
will be held on August 5, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Logan Park. Logan
Park is located on Logan Road in Carroll Township. Officers from the Carroll
Township Police Department will be having an old time family style cook out with
exhibits by local fire departments, law enforcement and prizes.
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is a nationwide event held every year on the first Tuesday
of August. The concept of National Night Out is to promote crime prevention
within the community, and to take back our streets from criminals and drug
dealers, in an effort to make our streets safe for families by a heightened
community awareness in combating crime and drugs. Together we can create a
strong neighborhood spirit of community-police relationship in combating these
problems.
Last year we had a large crowd, this year would like to see an even larger
crowd. So come out meet your friends, neighbors and the police officers that
serve you. It’s a fun time for all.
